Free Butter Burgers and Ice Cream for Players!

LZBSA is hosting MLB’s Pitch Hit & Run Competition at Staples Park

Date: Saturday, May 4th, 11:30 am to 1:30 pm

All baseball AND softball players are welcome to attend this FREE event.

Baseball and softball players can stop by between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm to test their skills.

Pitch Hit & Run is the official skills competition of Major League Baseball. This grassroots program is designed to provide youngsters with an opportunity to compete, FREE of charge, in a competition that recognizes individual excellence in core baseball/softball skills.

Individual Pitching, Hitting, and Running Champions, along with an All-Around Champion, in each age division at the LZBSA competition will advance to the Sectional level of competition.

Each player then has the chance to advance to the Team Championships at Major League ballparks and the National Finals during the 2019 MLB All-Star Week.

In 2018, a baseball player and a softball player from LZBSA made it to Guaranteed Rate Field for the Team Championship! This year it could be you!
