Lake Zurich Baseball & Softball Association is proud to continue its participation in the Challenger Program. This program, established in 1989 by Little League International, provides an opportunity for mentally and/or physically challenged youth to enjoy the game of baseball. By partnering with "buddies," participants learn the basics of the game and most importantly, are afforded a rewarding and memorable experience for all those involved.

We are looking for volunteers from the Lake Zurich community, ages 11 and older, who want to be part of the Challenger program and assist a mentally or physically challenged player.
The buddy would help the player in practices and games this spring and summer.
Applicants are expected to be buddies to Challenger players on the field, at school, and in the community. Applicants should be buddies to Challenger players on AND off the field, all the time.
For those interested, please fill out the buddy registration form (click the link below).
