Frederick D. Martin III

Fred Martin was very active in our organization back when it was known as Lake Zurich Youth Baseball Association.  He served as Commissioner for several years back in the early 1990’s, as well as managed and coached his two children.  Our program is what it is today thanks to people like Fred who gave of his time and talents for the benefit of our children and grandchildren as they are now playing in our program.  Fred Martin’s company, Martin Enterprises Heating and Air Conditioning, has been a sponsor of LZBSA for many years.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Frederick Donald Martin III, 67, of Lake Zurich, on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at St. Peter United Church of Christ, 47 Church Street, Lake Zurich. 7:30pm Visitation and Social; 8:30pm Luminary and Candle Light Service “Ravinia Style”. Bring your own Bevy and Chair.

Founder of Martin Enterprises Heating and Air Conditioning, President of the Church Counsel, Youth Group Leader, Sunday School Teacher, Coach and Friend to Many.

Fred is survived by his wife Teryl (nee Blau) Martin; loving father of Melissa (Randy) Abbott and Fred (Megan); Revered Grandpa of James, Brooklyn, Flynn and Gwenny.  He is preceded in death by his parents Frederick and Janette Martin, in laws Dale and Betty Blau and nephew Alex Martin.
