TRYOUTS for Postseason 10U Baseball

Date: Sunday, June 2nd

Location: Staples Park

Time: 3:30 pm

Ages: Current 4th graders in the Minor League

NOTE: 

·       Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled time to allow for check in and warm up.  

·       Each player will be evaluated for hitting, fielding, throwing

·       If you have a conflict, contact us to make other arrangements for an evaluation.

The post-season provides an opportunity to extend the baseball season in a more competitive, yet still fun, tournament games.

The post-season consists of 3 local tournaments (in process of finalizing):

June 28 - 30 (Cary)

July 10 – 14 (Bear Claw)

July 17 – 21 (Grayslake or Arlington)

Tournament games can start as early as Wednesday or Thursday night, and can go through Sunday. Weekday games are at night, but several games are usually scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays.

Boys currently in 4th grade are welcome to participate.

The cost per player will include the tournament entry fees and a player uniform. We ask that players can commit to make at least 2 of the tournaments. If unable to make 2 tournaments this could factor into team selection.

The LZBSA and post-season team managers will communicate the team selections as soon as possible following the tryouts.
