The Lake Zurich Baseball & Softball Association's Hit-a-Thon is our key fundraiser for the League.  The funds raised will directly support critical maintenance and enhancements on our fields (e.g., new L-screens, pitching mounds, batting cages) depending upon how much can be raised!  Our goal is to raise $50 per player.

Last year we raised $9,520!

RESCHEDULED: TBD

• Players may get pledges per hit or a flat pledge amount

• Coaches will be assigned a 15-minute time slot

• Each player will receive 5 pitches from their Coach

• Each field will be set up with point zones; points will be awarded for hits depending on how far the ball travels into the different zones

• Volunteers will be on-site to score each round, and players will receive their scores after they hit

Prizes will be awarded for the following categories:

• The LZBSA player with the most pledge dollars raised
• The House League Team with the most pledge dollars raised 
• The LZBSA player with the further hit ball
• The House League Team with most hits
• The House League Team with the most points score

Prizes for the Hit-A-Thon range from free ice cream from My Flavor it Place, Dinner Gift Cards from one of our awesome sponsors to throwing out the first pitch at a LZBSA baseball/softball game.
