Concessions By Woody's
 
As you know, Woody's Chicago Style Hot Dogs is now operating concessions for LZBSA. Woody's has already proven to be a valued partner to LZBSA and has played a major role in making significant improvements to our concession facilities at the Staples Complex. Woody's has also enabled us to fulfill a long-held desire to serve restaurant quality food to our players and fans.  If you have not yet sampled Woody's products, we hope you will do so in the near future.  The quality of the food and service is truly exceptional.

LZBSA has learned that some people are of the belief that with Woody's operating our concession stands, LZBSA no longer derives a financial benefit from concession sales.  That belief is mistaken.  Woody's has entered into an agreement with LZBSA whereby our organization derives significant income from Woody's concession operations.  Due to Woody's generosity, our income for the 2005 season is a guaranteed fee.  In other words, for this first season, Woody's agreed to assume the financial risk of sales not rising to the level necessary to justify the guaranteed fee.  As a result, purchases at the concession stands are critical to LZBSA justifying the fee we are guaranteed for this year and to ensuring that Woody's will continue to be interested in partnering with LZBSA.  More importantly, from LZBSA's perspective, sales for the 2005 season will set a benchmark and directly impact the amount of income LZBSA will receive from Woody's in future years.  In short, the relationship between LZBSA and Woody's benefits our organization in my ways and your support of the concession operations plays a major role in ensuring that those benefits continue, and increase, in the future.
