Umpire Information & Clinic Dates
Anyone interested in umpiring this year should
send an e-mail to lvhoehne@sbcglobal.net
or
dastein1@foresitewireless.com
with the following information:
1. Name
2. Address
3. Telephone number
4. Date of Birth
5. e-mail address to receive game schedules
All communication regarding umpiring will done
via e-mail.
Umpires under the age of 16 are required to
obtain a work permit from his or her school. No umpires will be
scheduled until a work permit is on file. Please start the process
by getting the required information from your school. There is preliminary work
that you can begin to save some time and make our first meeting more
productive. Here is the agenda for the first class:
1. Umpires will verify name,
address, telephone, and e-mail address for accuracy.
2. Umpires will receive letter
of intent to hire for school work permit.
3. New umpires will fill out
W-4 for payroll withholding. No umpires will receive a paycheck
until the W-4 is on file with the league. Kindly bring your social
security number with you.

5. All umpires will receive an
umpire quiz. Quiz answers can be found on the http://www.lzbsa.org/
website under the link for league rules. Quizes will be graded
during the second umpire class. Kindly remember to bring your
completed quiz with you.
6. All questions, comments and concerns
will be welcomed and addressed.
7. Umpire classes will be announced soon to be held Sunday, March 9th at 7:30 in the bsmt. of St. Francis Church. Stay tuned for dates and locations.
