Our Colt League (high school) provides for continuing baseball play while boys are in high school. This league allows boys at the high school age group to play ball in a structure that is highly competitive, very exciting, fun, and appreciable to those who have a love for the game. When you play Colt League baseball, you just like baseball, period!!
If you participate on a high school baseball team (Spring or Summer Programs), or any other sport, you can also play in the Colt League because the schedules do not conflict. The Colt League season typically begins one week after senior high school graduation. Colt games are generally played twice per week on Wednesday's and Saturday’s beginning in early June and concluding in early August, culminating in an “all play” World Series Tournament held at the Lake Zurich High School Varsity Baseball Field.
Over the years, this league has evolved from a single travel team into an exciting and competitive house league comprised of four to eight teams. In 2010 the Colt league took another leap forward, by expanding play to include travel games against house teams from the Cary Youth Baseball Program's Colt League.
We are very conscientious of the fact that at this age level boys have many other interests, including jobs. For this reason the Colt League is flexible enough to accommodate the many life style changes experienced as young men at this juncture in life. So no excuses, get out here and play Colt Baseball. You will enjoy yourself. It's fun.
