All ballplayers who are interested in playing part time travel baseball (N60) for age groups 9u, 10u, 11u, 12u, 13u and 14u next year are required to attend the tryout to be held on January 12th, 2013 at Home Run Sports and Fitness.   Scheduled times for each age group will be as follows:
 
   9u (3rd Grade): 12:30pm - 1:30pm
   10u (4th Grade): 1:45pm - 2:45pm
   11u (5th Grade): 3:00pm - 4:00pm
   12u (6th Grade): 4:15pm - 5:15pm
   13/14u (7th / 8th Grade): 5:30pm - 6:30pm
 
Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in and warm-ups.
Attire: White tee-shirt or similar. No baseball uniforms allowed.
 
There will be no make-up dates and each player must be registered by 1/12/13 to play in the house league. To register, click link below or paste into browser:

The Part-Time Travel Baseball Program is an extension of house league baseball that provides players with a more competitive experience. The program was formed to provide LZBSA participants an alternative to full time travel with enhanced player development to elevate their game within the baseball community.

The teams will play in a competitive baseball league against other northern Illinois communities. Northern Illinois All-star League (N60) is the competitive division teams will participate in. This league provides an opportunity to schedule games against other communities with competitive programs in Lake, Cook, and McHenry Counties. Home games will be played on LZBSA fields.

To be selected, players will participate in a tryout and will be evaluated based on skill. Tryouts are required in order to be eligible to make a part-time travel team. The number of teams at each age level may vary depending on the number of players who tryout. Selection of players will be conducted by managers and LZBSA committee members.

Players will participate in this competitive program as follows:

LZBSA- House League
Part-time Travel Competitive League
Memorial Day Tournament
End of Season Tournament

This will allow teams/players to participate in up to 30 or more games over the course of the season.

Cost per player selected for N60:
$295 (this is in addition to house league fees)
Includes uniforms, tournament fees, practice fields, and 3-4 instructional clinics
