2010 FALL BALL INFORMATION
Lake Zurich Baseball and Softball will again be offering fall ball this year to the leagues listed below. Single games will be played on Sundays only; girls beginning August 29th and the boys, September 12th. All leagues will finish by October 24th. All ballplayers will be registered in the same league they played in the spring (with the exception of travel players). Be sure to complete this information in the upper left corner of the application (the upper right corner will be completed by LZBSA).

The girls’ leagues include teams from other cities. Games will be played in

Tryout dates for the 2010/2011 LZBSA Lake Zurich Lightning girl’s fastpitch full time travel teams have been announced. The upcoming season will have teams at the following age levels: 10u, 12u, 14u, 16u and 18u, provided there is an approved manager and enough qualified girls for each age level. Tryout dates and times are as follows:
10u & 12u: Saturday August 14th @ 9:00 a.m., Staples Park Field #1
14u: Saturday August 14th @ 11:00 a.m., Staples Park Field #1
16u & 18u: Saturday August 14th @ 1:00 p,m., Staples Park Field #1
Rain date will be Sunday August 15th @ Staples Park Field #1
10u & 12u @ noon, 14u @ 2:00 p.m., 16u & 18u @ 4:00 p.m.
All players within the LZBSA area are welcome. There is no tryout fee. Players should bring their own equipment and water and arrive a half hour earlier than the time indicated above. To be eligible, a player’s age as of December 31, 2010 determines the age at which the player is eligible to play in 2010/2011. For example, if you are 12 years old on December 31, 2010 you are eligible for the 12u team. If you turn 13 on December 31, 2010, you are not eligible for the 12u team, and would have to try out for the 14u team.
Anyone interested in managing one of these travel teams must be 21 years of age. If you are interested in managing please e-mail Ron McGinnis at falconrjm@aol.com with your request to manage a particular team including coaching background or mail your request to LZBSA,
