The Lake Zurich Baseball and Softball Association will be hosting the 2016 Bear Claw Tournament July 6th -  10th!

The Bear Claw is a friendly and competitive tournament for in-house, post-season All-Star and part-time travel teams (no full-time travel teams please). It’s an exciting week of competitive, good-spirited baseball played on great fields!

Here are some details about the tournament:

•       Boys Ages: 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U/14U (combined).
•       Dates: July 6th -10th
•       Registration prior to June 1st is $465
•       3 game minimum pool play (weather permitting)
•       Trophies awarded to 1st and 2nd place teams
•       Medals awarded to 3rd and 4th place teams
•       MVP awards for every game!

Special 8U Tournament Information

The 8U Bear Claw is one of the most exciting events of the week. It’s a coach-pitch tournament that really allows the kids to play baseball – it features a lot of offense and some great defense. There is very little standing around for these players. It is fast-paced and exciting for the players and fans alike. If you have an 8U team this is one tournament you don’t want to miss!
