How To Get the Most Out of Your Practices

Remember practices when we played baseball? A coach pitching to one batter and everyone else was in the field. Too much standing around!
LZBSA is providing resources to help coaches teach players to play baseball. The more the players learn, the better they get and the more fun they have!
Paul Mazzuca, former Head Varsity Baseball Coach at Stevenson High School, will lead a FREE coaches clinic on Sunday, May 15th at Staples Park, Field #3. This is an exclusive event for LZBSA managers, coaches, and parents.
Coach Mazzuca will show you how to run an effective practice. They will include drills that you can use to improve hitting, pitching, throwing, fielding, and base running. The focus will be towards fundamentals for players at the Tyro and Minors age groups. However, coaches for all age groups can benefit and are welcome! Bring your glove!
Lake Zurich Baseball and Softball Association recognize the important role that youth coaches play in providing a positive sport experience for our kids. We feel there is no action that can have more of a positive impact on our players than improving the quality and knowledge of our coaches. So coaches, managers, and parents at all levels are encouraged to attend.
