LZBSA will also make improvements to the field including building covered dugouts.

Dear LZBSA Families,

On May 11, 2015 Lake Zurich lost an exemplary member of our community, Dave Anderson.  Dave was involved in many community activities including coaching more than a decade for the Lake Zurich Baseball and Softball Association (LZBSA).  Dave always taught his players to do it the right way, whether on the baseball field, or in life.

LZBSA will honor Dave by renaming the field at Hunters Creek Park “Anderson Field at Hunters Creek Park”.  LZBSA will also make improvements to the field including building covered dugouts.  Hunters Creek Park is very fitting as Dave lived in Chestnut Corners and coached his teams at Hunters Creek Park for many years. Many citizens of Lake Zurich will benefit from the improvements we will make to the baseball field.

LZBSA would like to invite you to make a tax-deductible donation and support our efforts in honoring Dave Anderson.  The covered dugouts and other improvements are anticipated to cost around $20,000.

Donations can be made online at: https://npo.justgive.org/DaveAnderson.

If you have any questions regarding this fundraising campaign, please contact John Tauras at john@lzbsa.org.

Sincerely,

LZBSA Board of Directors
