Lake Zurich Baseball and Softball Association

With games beginning on April 28th, the start of yet another opening season is almost upon us.

To officially open the season everyone is invited to the Opening Day Celebration on Sunday April 29th. Come join us at the Staples Fields for a great afternoon of family fun.

Here’s the day’s agenda:

• 11-12:15 – Tyro & Junior Softball Clinics with LZ High Scholl team players. Click here for details and sign-up link.
• 12:00–12:30 - Official Opening Time, vendor & sponsor tables open, announcements & special events
• 12:30-1:45 – Intermediate Softball Clinic Clinics with LZ High Scholl team players. Click here for details and sign-up link.
• 12:30-3:30 Pitch Hit and Run competition open. Click here for details and registration form
• 3:30 – Opening Day closes

• Silent auctions for Cubs ticket, Sox ticket, Reed Johnson autographed Cubs jersey
• Appearance by "Outlaw", Chicago Bandits Pro Fastpitch mascot (women's softball) and Bandits merchandise table

Also scheduled:

• Upper Deck Concessions offering free hotdog and drink to all kids in LZBSA uniform, plus free sample BBQ sandwiches (while supply lasts)
• Culvers offering free custard cups to first 500 guests
• Go Hardball radar timed throwing station –Field SA4
• Sports Authority table – Merchandise samples, including pitcher’s facemasks for the upcoming season
• THE RAFFLE - Both Cash and Apparel prizes. Signing up for the league has you in the raffle already. No extra work. Nothing to buy, nothing to fill out. Just come and win your prizes.
• Cubs & Sox tickets - A pair of Cubs game tickets (courtesy Upper Deck Concessions) and 2 sets of 4 Sox tickets available. Look for table and instructions on how to help support LZBSA while giving yourself a chance to win these tickets.
