Lake Zurich Baseball and Softball Association

We, the Officers, Directors, Field personnel and Members of the Lake Zurich Baseball & Softball Association subscribe to the following principles for the government and operation of the League:

We believe that baseball is a game to be enjoyed by all for the benefits to be derived from competition and team play.  To this end we resolve that our conduct, as adult representative of LZBSA, shall at all times be above reproach.  That our conduct on the field of play or off, in competition or administration; whichever, shall be commendable to the community, to the League, and above all to the boys and girls enrolled in our program.

We further resolve to employ restraint and display maturity on the field, constantly bearing in mind the best application of our motto:

"Teach sportsmanship today, to the citizens of tomorrow."

Finally, we resolve to be constantly aware that LZBSA exists and flourishes only through the efforts of it's adult members.  We therefore pledge our mutual efforts to perpetuate this organization through the recruitment of new members dedicated to these concepts.

To these ends, we lay our hand and seal.
